Whether you are a newly crowned vegan, a lover of vegan cuisine or a long time member of the vegan community, there are some staple pantry items that are super helpful to have on hand to allow for a smoothly executed vegan meal. This is in no way an exhaustive list. There are definitely other plant based pantry items that people love to cook with, but I wanted to make sure this list reflected what you would see in my recipes as well as what I use on a daily basis. Keep an eye out for upcoming recipes that feature these ingredients (I will update this post with the links to make them easy to find)!
If I’ve missed important ones, feel free to add them in the comments!

What Swedish Fika taught me during a time of social distancing
As I was organizing my photo drive due to pure boredom, I started thinking back to my time in Sweden and quickly began to crave cinnamon buns. Why? Because the staple of my Swedish summer was spending Fika with my colleagues, having a kanelbullar (swedish cinnamon roll) and espresso, sitting outside by the water.

Lately, making tea or coffee has become such a central part of my morning ritual. Just boiling some water, measuring out my tea leaves or coffee grinds and frothing my oat milk makes me feel ready to face the day.
Why I choose to be an intuitive eater
It has taken me a long time to get around to writing this post as I find myself constantly bombarded with information on social media about how we are all “supposed to eat”. This post was important for me to write because it seems we all need a reminder that the information we find online is not always correct and is NEVER one size fits all.

Current Skincare Routine
I have always had a love hate relationship with my skin. I am thankful for what I have but my skin has always been extremely sensitive. No matter what product I used, I seemed to have a reaction. Because of this, I didn’t actually find a full skincare routine that worked for me until I was 20.
